Our story

Our story starts with our founder - Associação Sócio Cultural Avenida ALmirante Reis - a non profit association  created to promote social and

cultural integration, through education and sharing. 

We built up a dedicated team committed to crafting exceptional experiences; providing reliable and innovative solutions, driven by a deep respect for

life and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.

With time, came growth, both in number and areas of impact, leading to a movement called Pluralis.

Our name Pluralis comes from Latin and means plural, diverse, multiple. It was chosen as a symbol of: empowerment of diversity; intercultural unity;

and inclusion of different identities.

We are Pluralis because we are many, but we walk together and turn diversity into strength.

Our objectives

Making social integration a reality

Pluralis is a non-profit organisation that works to bring people from different cultures together in order to create a society where all living beings are

respected and valued.

We strive to raise awareness of each individual's uniqueness and the personal enrichment that comes from acceptance and integration.

Through various programmes and initiatives – both internal and in collaboration with other institutions – we create spaces for people to meet, learn

and collaborate. By creating opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, we promote the building of meaningful networks that

transform dialogue into action and communities where diversity is celebrated and everyone is valued.

We also promote non-formal education in areas such as Human Rights Education and Employability, as we believe that these go hand in hand and

play a fundamental role in empowering those who wish to improve their lives and become dynamic members of society.

We act locally but think globally, maintaining the highest standards of integrity of character, so that we can serve as a model for those who, like us,

strive to create a peaceful and meaningful life, empowering individuals and communities and spreading positive change.
